Dr. Maria Kunstadter

Dr. Maria Kunstadter is a graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry. Her professional affiliations include:

• American Dental Association
• Missouri Dental Association
• Kansas City Dental Society
• American Orthodontic Society
• Mid-American Orthodontic Society
• International Association for Orthodontics

She is a founding member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and UMKC Dental Outreach and a registered dietician, and has participated in numerous third-world medical missions.

The Smile Salon was named a 2003 Greater Kansas City Small Business of the Year and received the 25 under 25 award from the Kansas City Small Business Monthly in 2004.

Dr. Kunstadter has achieved the status of Invisalign Premier Provider for 2005, 2006 and 2007, meaning she is in the top 10% of Invisalign dentists. In March 2008, she achieved the status of Elite Premier Provider, which is awarded to only 1% of Invisalign providers in the world!

Be prepared to tell Dr. Kunstadter your life history! Cotton rolls and other dental instruments never dissuade her from having a great conversation with our guests!

Dr. Straub

Dr. Straub is a life-long area resident, who looks forward to meeting you.

Credentials:

• Undergraduate degree in business, Baker University
• Creighton University School of Dentistry, DDS (2007)
• Invisalign® certified.

• Member, American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association
• Member, UKC Study Club

Dr. Straub strides to provide dental care that she, herself, would demand. She believes that by educating patients, the best level of care can be achieved.

Dr. Straub loves to interact with a large range of people on a daily basis with the opportunity to comfort, relieve pain, and help maintain oral health.

When Dr. Straub is not at the office, she enjoys tennis, NASCAR, traveling, running, skiing, and KU basketball.
